The Marijuana Party is a Registered Political Party
which is governed solely by the Canada Elections Act.
The REGISTERED Political Party
is nothing less & nothing more.
“Parti Marijuana Party” IS
an association of electors.
Every three years we require 250 citizens
to sign Elections Canada Memberships.
A primary purpose of Parti Marijuana Party is
endorsing 1 Candidate each general election.
The Party Leader has a legal duty
to support the election of Candidates
whose endorsement letter he signed.
Marijuana Party Associations can
provide legal tools to individuals,
that the elections laws created.
Individuals may act in registered roles.
Being officially associated with the Marijuana Party
expands the power of an individual’s expression
by using various special legal powers created
by law solely for registered political parties.
The primary one is political contribution tax credit.
POLITICAL CONTRIBUTION TAX CREDITS
WERE THE ONLY MATERIAL ADVANTAGES
PARTI MARIJUANA PARTY HAD, & THUS,
THE MAIN MATERIAL REASON TO EXIST.
The only thing we could do that makes a material difference
is make more arrangements to take advantage of tax credits.
We offer the means for individual Canadian taxpayers
to enjoy their Participation Premiums through their
FREE participation in Electoral District Associations.
Only cultures that were crazy & corrupt to the core
would have ever started to criminalize cannabis!!!
The world is controlled by huge lies,
backed up with lots of violence, and
that is automatically getting worse!
We are in a runaway fascist plutocracy juggernaut.
Since the world IS controlled via groups of people
which collectively are trillionaire mass murders,
knowing more about that may not change it much.
Laws controlling election funding are extremely unfair.
In fact, under the current election laws,
our Candidates’ votes are worth nothing.
Big political parties make money from elections!
Small political parties are going broke participating.
Votes for big parties are worth about
$2 per year to those bigger parties, &
big parties get most of the money that
they spend campaigning later refunded.
Votes for small parties are worth nothing,
and they get none of the money spent
campaigning refunded later to them.
It makes no material difference how many more Candidates,
nor how many more votes our Candidates may ever receive.
Given that votes are worth nothing to us,
and we get no campaign expenses refunded,
and therefore, we are starting at $zero,
for us to go above the 2% threshold in
total votes appears to be impossible.
Since we are below the 2% threshold, which is like a vertical cliff that is so extremely unfair to all the people voting for small parties,
we have no practical reason to care about elections,
other than a fundamental purpose to endorse at least
ONE CANDIDATE during Canadian general elections ...
Since we can not jump from $zero
to up above 2% of national votes,
all elections are mostly annoying.
There seems nobody worth voting for ...
People who are Members of the party,
or people who are Officers or Agents
of this party, have NO obligations to
endorse nor vote for its Candidates.
They have an independent right to vote,
and to vote strategically, as they decide.
This party operates in decentralized ways.
Candidates are not obliged to agree
with other Candidates or the Leader.
We make no effort to collectivize.
Parti Marijuana Party enables
individual initiatives, through
a decentralized participation.
Individuals are FREE to
use individual initiative
to register participation.
The powers in the legal tools that parties have
are distributed to individuals’ initiatives ...
The party facilitates decentralized participation.
By associating with the Marijuana Party
individuals acquire special powers
which registered parties have.
Individuals are then free to use those powers.
TO REPEAT:
The only legal powers worth something material
the party can offer to the public are tax credits.

Our effort to end pot prohibition:
The Marijuana Party was created to influence
governments to Stop Criminalizing Cannabis.
Our existence raise that issue to a greater level of awareness.
Cannabis is a Federal law matter
ONLY because pot is criminalized.
If marijuana was no longer being scheduled in
the “Controlled Drugs and Substances Act”
then the only influence Federal law would have
would be by using the Federal spending powers.
If cultivation & possession of pot was no longer criminal,
then the only remaining role for the Federal government
would be Federal spending powers to subsidize cannabis.
If cannabis was not criminalized,
then all of the regulations governing
the possession and cultivation of cannabis
should be the responsibility of provincial politics
(then, under the provincial, the municipal politics.)
The Federal Government has asserted
direct jurisdiction over cannabis, since,
they have powers to criminalize cannabis,
(& the Supreme Court of Canada agreed.)
Criminalizing the possession and cultivation of cannabis
took it out of all the provincial jurisdictions and into the
exclusive jurisdiction of the Federal government’s laws.
While all constitutional law may not be not totally clear,
a Federal Party has roles to play only at two extremes.
One is to end the prohibition of pot. The other role,
if the political pendulum swung that far, would be
to use Federal spending powers to subsidize pot.
People who are concerned with ending the pot prohibition
should attempt to influence the Federal political processes
People who are concerned with what should happen,
after pot was legalized, need to be involved
in provincial and municipal politics.
The Federal Marijuana Party has no legal roles to play
in the development of models of what legal marijuana
may become, except inasmuch as Federal government
could intrude into provincial politics, to spend money
to subsidize legal cannabis within provincial spheres.
It is the Federal Government’s spending power
that allows it to intrude into provincial spheres.
Although Federal, Provincial, & Municipal Parties
are separate & distinct, individual human beings
can simultaneously participate in political parties.
The same people may be active in more than one domain,
however, this Marijuana Party is only active in the Federal.
Canadians over 18 have legal rights to become
one or more of the following party associates:
Canadian citizens could become Party Members.
Canadian citizens can be election Candidates.
Canadian persons can become
Officers and/or Agents, of
the party as a whole, or
of party associations.
Individual Canadian residents
may be financial donors to
the whole party, candidates,
and/or party associations.
